For more than 4 generations, the Oberto family has dedicated itself to viticulture on the hill of La Morra, initially on the Santa Maria side, where Paola still cultivates her Barolo in the crù area called “Bricco San Biagio.”
After studying Agronomy and a master’s degree in viticulture at the University of Turin, Paola, together with her father Luigi, mother Beatrice and brother Marco, has followed since the 1990s the development of the markets and the increase in production quality of the family business.
Since 2017 she has been operating in her new production nucleus of the Cascina Santa Caterina on the southwest side of the hill, ensuring a unique variety and balance due to the different exposure of the cultivated vineyards.
From 2024 she completes the offer with the new production site Cascina Casa Rotta in the Cherasco Commune.
A new chapter then in a long history for Paola Oberto’s wine growing estate, the result of an articulate and new approach to an ancient world; the fruit of scientific studies and experience in the field, in order to offer enthusiasts of authenticity the flavor of the Langhe with which to enrich their daily as well as festive occasions.
