INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Pursuant to EU Regulation no. 2016/679 and applicable legislation, Paola Oberto Azienda Agricola,
as Data Controller, hereby wishes to inform you of the purposes and methods of the processing of
your personal data.

1- DEFINITIONS
We set out below the meaning of some of the terms used in this Policy in order to facilitate
understanding:
Processing: shall mean any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data or
sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording,
organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by
transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction,
erasure or destruction.
Personal Data or Data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘Data
Subject’); an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference in
particular to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online
identifier or to one or more features of his/her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic,
cultural or social identity.
Owner: Paola Oberto azienda agricola, based in via La Morra 70, Cherasco (CN ) Italy, which
determines the purposes and means of the processing of the Data of the Data Subject.
Data Controller: is the natural or legal person, public authority, service or other body that processes
Data on behalf of the Data Controller.
Data subject: the person to whom the Data refer.
2- TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED
Data may be collected and processed by the Data Controller for the purposes detailed below.
The Data are collected directly from the data subject at the time of contact at a trade fair or from
direct communication held or from data available on the web.
The Data Controller processes, by way of example, the following Personal Data: first name, last
name, email address and address of residence, fax number, tax code, date and place of birth,
purchases made, tracking of navigation on our site via cookies, IP address, type of browser and
device used.
The Data Controller does not process Data that is not strictly necessary for the purposes set out
below.
3- PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING
Your data will be used exclusively for the following purposes
a) to enable you in the purchase of Paola Oberto's wines as well as to guarantee the correct
provision of the services requested and the issuing of tickets to visit exhibitions or events where we
present ourselves and, therefore, to fulfil correctly and punctually all the obligations deriving from
the contractual relationship established with you, including the sending of communications relating
to the event for which the ticket has been sent, as well as for obligations deriving from the law or
regulations in force, including those deriving from tax regulations, from those on unfair commercial
practices as well as from public safety regulations
b) for administrative and accounting purposes;
c) for subscribing to mailing lists kept by Paola Oberto azienda agricola, carrying out market
surveys and sending advertising and informative material on the products and services offered by
Paola Oberto azienda agricola or by third parties, by means of automated systems, such as, but not
limited to, e-mail, fax, sms, whatsapp or MMS;
d) for the processing of the personal data provided by you and those deduced from your surfing in
order to define the customer's commercial profile (through the detection of consumption habits),
aimed at the efficiency of the assistance service, the monitoring of customer satisfaction in order to
ensure better satisfaction of the customer's needs, and the sending of information and/or advertising
material of specific interest to the customer, by means of automated systems, such as - but not
limited to - e-mail, fax, SMS or MMS.
4- CONFERMENT OF PERSONAL DATA
The conferment of your personal data for the purposes indicated in points "a" and "b" is a necessary
condition for the provision of the service and, in the absence of conferment, Paola Oberto azienda
agricola will not be able to offer the services or sell the products requested and cannot assist you in
accessing an event where it promotes its products.
Consent to the other processing purposes indicated in points ‘c’ and ‘d’ is merely optional.
5- METHODS OF PROCESSING
Your data will be processed by electronic or otherwise automated means or in paper format,
according to the methods and with the tools suitable to ensure the security and confidentiality of the
data, in accordance with EU Regulation no. 2016/679 and applicable legislation. In particular, all
technical, IT, organisational, logistical and procedural security measures will be adopted, so that an
adequate level of protection as provided for by the Regulation is guaranteed, allowing access only
to the persons in charge of the processing by the Data Controller or the Data Processors designated
by the Data Controller.
The information acquired and the methods of processing will be pertinent and not excessive in
relation to the type of services rendered. The data will also be managed and protected in
environments whose access is under constant control.
6- COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE OF DATA
Your data may be communicated
a) to all those subjects (including Public Authorities) who have access to your personal data by
virtue of regulatory or administrative measures;
b) to third party companies whose products or services are offered or sold by Emtrad di Edgar
Maeder;
c) to companies or third parties in charge of printing, enveloping, mailing and/or delivery services;
d) banking institutions and companies that manage national or international payment circuits
through which online payments are made for products purchased through the Site or other systems;
e) to companies, consultants or professionals in charge of the installation, maintenance, updating
and management of the hardware and software that Emtrad di Edgar Maeder uses to provide its
services
f) to all those public and/or private entities, natural and/or legal persons (legal, administrative and
fiscal consultancy firms, Judicial Offices, Chambers of Commerce, Chambers and Labour Offices,
etc.), if the communication is necessary or functional to the correct fulfilment of the contractual
obligations undertaken, as well as the obligations deriving from the law.
The data concerning you will not be disseminated, except in anonymous and aggregate form, for
statistical or research purposes.
7- DATA PROCESSOR
Pursuant to Article 28 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679, Paola Oberto azienda agricola has appointed
the following persons as ‘Data Processors’:

8- STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data will be stored only for the time necessary to ensure the correct provision of the
services offered.
In any case, it is understood that your personal data will be stored and processed for the purposes of
verifying your consumption and marketing habits for the period of time permitted by law and by the
provisions of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
Once this period has expired, your data will be transformed into anonymous form, so that it will not
be possible, even indirectly, to identify the persons concerned.
9- RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
In accordance with the applicable legislation, you have the right to:
a) obtain
information on the origin of your personal data, on the purposes and methods of the processing, on
the legal basis of the processing, on the logic applied in the event of processing carried out with the
aid of electronic instruments and in the event of automated decision-making and, in this case, the
importance and expected consequences of such processing
indication of the identification data concerning the data controller and the data processors;
indications as to the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the data may be communicated or
who may become aware of the data in their capacity as designated representative in the territory of
the State, data processors or persons in charge of processing
indications as to the storage period of the personal data or, if this is not possible, the criteria used
to determine this period;
access, updating, rectification or integration of the data concerning you;
erasure without undue delay or restriction of processing;
in the case of processing based on your consent or carried out by automated means, the portability
of the data, i.e. the transmission of the data in a commonly used, machine-readable format and the
right to transfer them to another controller
certification to the effect that the operations as per the preceding points have been notified, as also
related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or
disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly
disproportionate to the right protected;
b) revoke the consent given at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on
the consent given before revocation;
(c) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
d) object, in whole or in part, at any time, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her,
where it is carried out for the purposes of commercial information or advertising material or direct
selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
METHODS FOR EXERCISING RIGHTS
