Our first Bud of Nebbiolo Vine

The Nebbiolo grape variety – typical of Piedmont – is the first to bud in our region, but it is also the last to be harvested. It therefore has the longest growing season, which allows the vine to absorb more nutrients and sunlight to concentrate in the grapes. However, this also exposes it to greater risks, such as spring frosts, hail or autumn cold. This is why it forms the basis of the most important wines such as Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero, but also Nebbiolo Langhe, depending on where it is grown, how it has been vinified and how long it has been aged or refined.
We are all ready to accompany the plants through the season in the spirit of balance and the quality that will result from it!
